I believe Mark added "N to one host" copy functionality sometime
before 24 May 2004... I'll bet it's in 2.1.7 or better... so...
control:
syslogconfhost = ( a:b:c )
copy:
cfengine_servers::
/etc/syslog.conf server=$(syslogconfhost)
dest=/etc/syslog.conf.d/syslog.conf.$(syslogconfhost)
?
I've been meaning to
control:
tw_host = ( a:b:c )
copy:
tw_archive_host::
/var/tripwire/tw.db_$(tw_host) server=$(tw_host)
dest=/var/tripwire/tw.db_$(tw_host)
I'm embarrassed to say I haven't made time to try it out: Cfengine
2.1.3 works so darn well that I haven't been motivated to upgrade!
Thank you, thank you, thank you Mark.
