Hello everyone.
I want to insert a standalone cfengine programm between the update run
and the main run. The idea behind is, that I want to syncronize a local
package list against a master copy and then do the package installation
using a bunch of shellcommands if the package list has changed. This
obviously needs to be done before all configuration is done. I first
thought about something like
actionsequence = ( copy.install shellcommands.install otheractions
...copy shellcommands )
to give it a certain order. Is there anything to criticize about that
way to do it? Is there a better way to do it? Methods maybe? How stable
are methods already? Since
cfagent -v -n
gives me:
.
.
.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Summary of objects involved
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
~ global
~ update
~ main
i thought ther must be some way to insert a seperate object?
Thanks in advance for your wisdom
Ian
