I assume you mean the JDEE (Java Development Environment for Emacs). "JDE"
was dropped for copyright reasons.
The JDEE is developed primarily under emacs, then ported to Xemacs. So, it
should work at least as well in Emacs as in Xemacs.
Just follow the directions at jdee.sunsite.dk, specificatly those for:
- requirements
- downloading
- installing
Briefly, you need to get some additional packages, and ensure that they're on
your load-path. You probably already have some or all of them:
- eieio
- speedbar
- semantic
- elib
Then download and install the JDE as usual, following the directions.
