Is this the x-open-connection bug (loading term/w32-win.el explicitly)?
If so, I have fixed it now, so there is no need to supply more info.
If it is some other bug, please do try to debug, and supply a backtrace.
The info from the tool mentioned above did not seem particularly
useful. It was only a list of programs that are associated with Emacs.
