There is an entry in the Cygwin FAQ at <http://cygwin.com/faq/> called
"How do I run bash as a shell under NT Emacs?" which might help.  I'd
be interested to know if it does, as I maintain the entry.  I'm not
running 21.1 yet so I don't know if it applies.
