And for Windows Me you MUST use the "MSCONFIG.EXE" program to
edit your environment vars, Me keeps checksum validation on CONFIG.SYS
and AUTOEXEC.BAT (and possibly others) and will replace an AUTOEXEC.BAT
file that you manually manipulate with (for example) Emacs. ;^(
