I can successfully print (plain text) from win9x/winnt/win2000 machines
to
printers using a parallel port connection. However, on a win98 machine
with
an attached usb printer, I have not been able to print. The printer port
seems
to be something like "DOT4" or "DOT4_001". But using this in .emacs
(setq printer-name "dot4:") or the like only seems to lock up the
current
emacs session. Any help with this?
