This is a bit of a vague question. Do you mean UTF-8 encoded text,
UTF-16 or Microsoft's proprietary version of UTF-16? Have you already
solved the problem of reading the file in the correct encoding and
just looking for information about getting the fonts to display, or is
your problem with reading the file in the first place?

Out of the box, Emacs 21.1 supports a subset of Unicode encoded as
UTF-8, but to get it to display correctly takes some work. 21.2
displays that subset correctly out of the box.

If you need more than the currently supported subset of Unicode, or
encodings other than UTF-8, then you will need to install Mule-UCS.
