[h-e-w] ntemacs & gnus

Hello,

I want to try gnus for a while before I decide to use it. (<sigh>,
this was how I got hooked to emacs).  My problem is I want to use it
ONLY for mail with a POP3 account & without deleting the mail from the
server.  Currently, I use MS Express for mail which leaves the mail on
the server after it downloads it.  I'd like gnus to do the same.

My setup is emacs 21.1 with Gnus 5.9 on a win2k box.  Does anything
else have to be present to enable gnus to connect to the mailserver
and download mail?  If so,can someone tell what's required and the
corresponding gnus setup file please.
