I would also like to be able to use Emacs for email, if only to tweak the
noses of our IT group (Microsoft groupies).

Me either.

This selection isn't on my menu. Which Emacs version are you using?
Suppose I should put the latest one on -- I'm using 20.7.2. I picked
"Foreign Groups/Make Foreign Group."

At this point, I was asked for the name of the group, and "From method."
Nnimap wasn't available.

Is this just a problem to be solved by getting the latest version?

Once I have mail working, what can I do about attachments (sending and
receiving)?

Thanks much,
Allen
