Hello,

I have the following in _emacs
(add-to-list 'default-frame-alist '(background-mode . dark))
(add-to-list 'default-frame-alist '(background-color . "black"))
(add-to-list 'default-frame-alist '(foreground-color . "white"))
(add-to-list 'default-frame-alist '(cursor-color . "red"))
(set-face-foreground 'modeline "blue")

and this in gnu 5.9 in emacs 21.1 makes it difficult to read/write. I
saw a FAQ posting about dark colors which seemed to ack. the problem
but didn't give anything more. Any suggestions as to how to make it
easier to read/write in Gnus? Which faces help in reducing the
problem?

regards,
Sivaram
