[h-e-w] M-i in cua-mode rectangles won't work

Hello everyone

  have any of you had a problem with the increment command for
  rectangles in cua-mode?


  If I type this, 

    a 1
    b 2

  wrap a rectangle around it and type M-i I get 

    "let*: Wrong type argument: sequencep, 2"

  any idea why, or how I should go about trying to fix it?
