[h-e-w] Gnus scoring questions

I'm using Emacs 21.2 with Gnus 5.9.0 just as it came.

1. There is a command called Trace Score in the menu, but when I try to use
it, I get the message, "gnus-configure-windows: No such setting in
`gnus-buffer-configuration': score-trace." What do I need to do to make
this work?

2. How can I get articles below a certain score NOT to display at all? I
have set a level to expunge, but this just marks the articles; they still
show up on the list.

Following is a typical score file, somewhat abbreviated (from rec.travel):

((expunge -300)
 (mark -100)
 ("subject"
  ("^\\([Rr][Ee]: +\\)?[^a-z]+$" -10 nil R)
  ("!!!" -20 nil s)
  ("!!!!" -30 nil s)
  ("!!!!!" -50 nil s)
  ("!!!!!!" -70 nil s)
  ("France" 100 nil s)
  ("French" 100 nil s)
  ("Paris" 100 nil s)
  ("Orleans" 200 nil s)
  ("Angouleme" 200 nil s)
  ("Provence" 100 nil s)
  ("^ *\\([(<]none[>)]\\|(no subject\\( given\\)?)\\)? *$" -10 nil r)
  ("\\(un\\)?sub?scribe" -500 nil r)
  ("please ignore" -500 nil s)
  ("Stupidity" -500 nil s)
  ("test" -500 nil e)
 )
 ("from"
  ("lsusa.com" 100 nil s)
  ("Jack/Travel" 100 nil s)
 )
)

Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Regards,
Allen
