Hello,

Anyone any experience with building Emacs from CVS?  I'm running Win XP Pro, and have both Cygwin and Mingw installed (although from reading the docs the latter isn't necessary).

I'm not sure in which environment I should build, cygwin bash or dos?  Is there a difference, and which configure do I run?  The standard "configure" or "configure.bat"

I'd ideally like to get up to speed with building Emacs from CVS so I can contribute to the project, but building it is proving harder than expected :/

Dave
