I'm working with a braindead ISP that requires ftp usernames to have
an @ sign in it.
Using ftp, I can get in this way:
ftp
> open ftp.metajiva.com
> user address@hidden
Or using mozilla, I can get in this way
ftp://address@hidden@metajiva.com:
IE cannot figure it out.
Yeah!!! Stupid username syntax. They guy on the tech support hotline
actually tried to defend this naming convention.
Unfortunately, it breaks ange-ftp. Damn!!! Stupid ass ISP. They broke
my dired-like ftp interface.
Anyone know how to have ange-ftp get around this arcane username
issue?
