You probably need to set your path properly. You can do this from
within Emacs. For example:

      (setq exec-path
             (expand-file-name "~/bin")
             (concat gnat-dir "/bin")
             "c:/Gnu/gnade/bin" ; so Books can find gnade-config
             "c:/Gnu/GtkAda-2.2.0/bin" ; for dlls, Books
      (setenv "PATH" (mapconcat 'identity  exec-path  path-separator))
