Well, it might be more common then you think - it was not until these
conversations
that I realized the "mushroom" was a gnu ...

I've heard it identified as a few different things,
but never as a mushroom!  Maybe it's a kind of
emacs Rorschach test...  ;-)

When I get time, I'll have to see if I can rework it
to scale better.  Maybe later this summer.
