I run ssh to log into a WinXP box from a Win2000 box (yes you can do
it via Cygwin) and have problems starting an Emacs session on the
remote machine. I get the message:
emacs: standard input is not a tty
My TERM variable on the remote end is 'cygwin'. I am using Emacs
21.3.50.1. If I use Cygwin's Emacs, it work fine. Any ideas on how to
fix this? Thanks.
