I have no idea how I should do this ;-(
I tried
M-x rebind-keys-mode
which tells me "Rebind-Keys mode disabled" and again 
M-x rebind-keys-mode
which tells me "Rebind-Keys mode enabled"
but after both commands ctrl+o still don't work.
