[h-e-w] Document how to make file associations work after upgrade

Hi,

 

Thanks for maintaining the GNU Emacs FAQ for MS Windows.  It’s helped me run Emacs on Windows.

 

When upgrading to GNU Emacs 23.2, I had to make the following changes to make file associations work and I think it would be useful to document them in the FAQ so that other people don’t have to figure them out for themselves:

 

• Change the ALTERNATE_EDITOR environment variable to point to the new version.
• Run regedit and remove My Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\emacsclientw.exe.
