nothing like that happend to me.
same environment and usage of precompiled binaries from
release http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/emacs/windows
pretest http://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/emacs/pretest/windows/
snpashot http://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/emacs/windows
for one year.
