The GNU R interface to GLPK is now available on the Comprehensive R
Archive Network (CRAN).

The R interface functions are almost identical to the GLPK C API -- this
makes moving between the R environment and C code very easy.  Almost all
GLPK lpx_* routines are supported.

The most current version of the GLPK package on CRAN is 4.8-0.3.

Suggestions, improvements, and bug fixes, are welcomed.
