First open up the DOS window by typing "cmd" in the "run" command.  
(Start/Run/cmd).

Then in the DOS window, execute glpsol.

hi there! 

whenever I try to start glpk (glpsol in folder bin) in Windows XP a window 
(dos-like) flashes for a moment but vanishes immediately. I hope somone has 
some good advice!
