Beside what Oliver mentioned (use `C-c C-c' and TAB to complete the
commands), you can bind the commands in this way:
;; in tex-site.el or in ~/.emacs:
(eval-after-load
"latex"
'(define-key LaTeX-mode-map [(shift f6)]
'(lambda ()
(interactive)
(TeX-command "View" 'TeX-master-file))))
This binds [(shift f6)] to the "View" entry.
