hi list!
I've switched to imap recently and I cannot figure out how to configure gnus to
split my mails
Here's the part of my ~/.gnus which I wrote:

(setq gnus-secondary-select-methods
      '((nnimap "localhost")

(setq nnimap-split-inbox "INBOX")

(setq nnimap-split-rule
"List-Id: Die Mailingliste der BeLUG (Berliner Linux User Group)
        "List-Id: General discussion of GTK+ <>")
"List-Id: Users list for the GNU Emacs text editor
        "List-Id: CCC Diskussionsliste <>")
        ("INBOX.private" "")

What this is supposed to do is take all mail from my inbox and sort out all
mail coming from
mailing-lists. Everything else then goes into INBOX.private.
When I start gnus, it seems to sort my mail but when I try to access it, I'm
told the mailbox doesn't
exist. I've tried to subscribe to several "groups" for example nnimap:emacs,
INBOX:emacs, INBOX.emacs etc, etc but they all give me the same "the mailbox

Please tell me what I'm doing wrong.
