Crew,
I never see this in any Emacs FAQs that I can find, but here goes: how do I
adjust the indent amount in Java mode? It's on 4 columns, but I would like
to switch it to 2.
Obvious rebuttals:
- Q: Why not use JDEE? A: I'm trying to install it, but it has issues.
- Q: I'm an emacs guru, so leave it as an exercise for the reader! A:
that's not the point.
- Q: It's in the java-programmers-who-refuse-to-use-jdee-FAQ, look for it
there! A: sorry, never saw it.
- Q: Why not use Eclipse? A: that's next, but I want something now.
- Q: Why not use [insert favorite IDE here]? A: I don't want to use an
IDE.
- Q: Use vi! Jihad! Jihad! A: that's not the point.
- Q: RMS doesn't like Java. Jihad! Jihad! A: that's not the point.
- Q: This isn't a programmers newsgroup! A: I thought it was a help
group.
Thanks!
