How to use c-mode indenting in conf-mode?

Hi. I have been looking for ways to indent my conf-mode buffers in the 
same way as my c-mode files. When I type (| is my point)

    section {|}

and then I type RET, I would like to get

    section {
        |
    }

but I keep getting

    section {
    |
    }
