Rotate /var/log/radwtmp once in a while. I'd recommend to install
a monthly or fortnightly cron job that creates a compressed copy of
/var/log/radwtmp and then truncates it to zero length. If you have
logrotate or newsyslog (on BSD systems), that's the task for them.

Possibly multiple start records? Examine your detail file for them.
