In testing users with radauth, we find that
radauth username password works. It authenticates the user and returns
/usr/local/sbin/radauth:55: not enough arguments to shift
Authentication passed.
Not sure what the "not enough arguments" is about.
However, when we try radauth -v username password
we get authentication failed. Inspection of the radius log shows this
Auth.notice: (Access-Request local 42 "-v"): No such user [-v]
It would appear that radauth is trying to auth with the -v as the username.
Here is the contents of our client.conf file
# For detailed description, run:
# info Radius client.conf
server local 127.0.0.1 testing123 1645 1646
source_ip 127.0.0.1
timeout 3
retry 1
Any ideas?
Bill
