Thanks for the good point!

The image in [1] is not actually a logo, its just the GNU Logo with "GNU 
Astronomy Utilities" written beside it. I made it early in the history 
of Gnuastro just as a place-holder in case it is necessary in a 
stand-along document.

GNU's logo is already the default logo of Gnuastro also. It is also 
already seen at the top of the Gnuastro's page [2] (along with GNU 
Astronomy Utilities as a title of the page). So I think the image in [1] 
will just make the elements in the main webpage too repetitive and 
non-creative!

We have tried to get in touch with some designers, but its hard (we have 
no budget!). But I am happy to say that I am now in touch with a 
volunteer designer, let's hope it works out this time ;-).
