Hi,
we're having a big project developed in windows and ported to linux. Now
we updated from gcc 2.9.x to gcc 3.3.4, and now have noticed problems
using dynamic_casts in shared objects (In fact, dynamic_casts always
returns a NULL-Pointer). I found that this is a known problem due to
changes in looking up symbols in shared objects. I also found a
workaround suggestion in the GCC Faq, but I haven't managed yet to make
it work.
To manage our build system, we're using CMake. Does anyone know, how to
set this up correctly to get the dynamic_casts up and running again?
Thx,
Ciao, Marco
