I use a live CD, of my own choice, mainly for "rescue" or restore 
purposes; booting in rigs with installed Windows, Linux, or both (dual 
boots). And I'm looking for an automatic logic like this: "scan 
partitions; at least one Windows partition found, set live system's 
hwclock to local; else set to UTC".

Are you against this?
