Hi,
I have recently installed gsl 1.6
I have blas and lapack which came along with redhat 9.0
My computer configurations are
Red hat linux 9.0
Intel pentium 3 processor,192mb ram,650mhz.
gcc 3.2.2 with all the gnu utilities came along with Redhat 9

I have compiled gsl properly and did 'make install' (as root).
Hence there seemed no problem in gsl installation.
As u can see my library files; i have libgsl.so and all

address@hidden lib]$ pwd
/usr/local/lib
address@hidden lib]$ ls
ivtools                         libcv.la                        libgslcblas.a

When i try to compile following gsl c program using gcc
as given in handbook of gsl:

/*gsl1.c*/
#include <stdio.h>
     #include <gsl/gsl_sf_bessel.h>

     int
     main (void)
     {
       double x = 5.0;
       double y = gsl_sf_bessel_J0 (x);
       printf ("J0(%g) = %.18e\n", x, y);
       return 0;
     }

gcc gave me following error:

address@hidden omkar]$ gcc gsl1.c
gsl1.c:13:1: warning: no newline at end of file
/tmp/ccuZcvz7.o(.text+0x28): In function `main':
: undefined reference to `gsl_sf_bessel_J0'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
address@hidden omkar]$

Hence there might be problem in the gsl.
I want gsl badly.
Please help me to solve it.
