[Help-gsl] a bit off topic: replacement for Num. Rec. routines

Hello list,
we plan to release our program to analyze gamma spectra as GPL. Unfortunately
there are two Numerical Recipies codes that are marquardt fitting and
matrix deconvolution. (Problem: see here http://www.nr.com/licenses/)
Before we start to replace these functions i would like to know: Are there
any drop-in replacements ?

I am asking here because i can imagine that this is a bit common problem.
