Long time user of GSL. The software is superb and the packaging is 
professional, overall a pleasure to use. But Brian, you have been an incredible 
leader and maintainer and guide. I think others will agree with me that the 
high quality we associate with GSL is mainly due to you and your efforts. Sorry 
to see you stepping down; thank you very very much for the commitment you've 
made to GSL and for your guidance over the years.
