There does not seem to be a service type for this.  Maybe it should be
added.

That’s what I assumed too.  I used libvirt before on Fedora but had not
noticed virtlogd.

There's a virtlog service in gnu/services/virtualizzation.scm

The manual mentions it too

I'm reconfiguring right now, I'll let you know
