hi swedebugia,

i take a look at your config file but i haven't see the exact package which conntains codecs.
i don't kwnow any codecs,i need your help to install it via my config file;

could you post your "guix describe"-output and your config.scm?

I'm on guix and until now have not had any problems. My configs are here
for your inspiration (note the gst-* packages which contains codecs and
mpv which is my preferred player):
