I understand, that's why I'm asking if it works better after you unset 
$LD_LIBRARY_PATH

Binaries in the store should never try to use anything in /usr as bash seems to 
be doing, and since you mention $LD_LIBRARY_PATH, I thought it could be the 
culprit. Whatever happens, something in your system is breaking guix' 
assumption and forces guix' bash to load a random library from the system, 
instead of the store.

You can try to run ldd on that bash binary to see if you see any mention of 
/usr.

I don't see $LD_LIBRARY_PATH below though, so it's not set after all?
