Hello,

    I get an error when trying to compile hurd.

make serverboot prof-depend=t
make[2]: Entering directory `/src/hurd-20010426/serverboot'
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `boot_script.o', needed by `serverboot'.  Stop.
make[2]: Leaving directory `/src/hurd-20010426/serverboot'
make[1]: *** [serverboot.prof_d] Error 2

Also I have some issues with the gnumach kernel I built with default options.

root=(hd2,0)
kernel=/boot/kernel root=hd3s1
module=/boot/serverboot.gz
boot

This setup works with the default gnumach.gz kernel.  kernel is my built one.

Sorry, but I don't have a screen dump.  I have to type this out.

Probing PCI hardware.
com0: at atbus0, port = 3f8, spl=6, pic=4. (DOS COM1)
com1: at atbus1, port = 2f8, spl=6, pic=3. (DOS COM1)
Root device `hd3s1' does not exist!
Root device name? [hd3s1]

It seems not to pick up my disk controllers.  I have an i810 motherboard with ATA33/66 controllers.  The disk is on the secondary which runs at 33.  There is obviously something I am not including or configuring properly at compile time.  The normal one detects disk drives.   This is gnumach-1.2-10.

Thanks,

Nathan
