Uhm... currently Hurd is very dependant on Mach. There needs a lot to
be done to port Hurd to such different microkernels like L4. There's a
hurd-l4 mailinglist, but AFAIK there was no big effort in this
direction, yet (I don't read this list (yet) - you can look in the
archives, it's hosted on gnu.org).
Hurd also runs on OSKit-Mach...
