Yes, I found this info now in the X sources.  I think it is required to
access memory for the card.

I found some info in:
xc/programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/drivers/i810/README

and the source files in that directory.  Mmh.  I think a framebuffer in
oskit would be nice (in general, we dislike to write and maintain such
specialities like agpgart modules etc.  The main problem is the committment
to certain interfaces to access such things).
