What is hd%ds%d ?

Bye

The %d stands for a number indicating in this case any number for the harddrive slices. This might be a leftover from the C source code comments? So hd%ds%d means for example hd1s1 (the first slice of your first harddrive) or hd3s2 (the second slice of your third harddrive).
