The Hurd only supports ext2 and ufs filesystems of 2GB. because of this you 
have to create multiple partitions if you want to use more than 2GB.

I have a 2GB root partition and a 2GB /home partition. I also have a partition 
for a neighbourhurd, this can be usefull if you want to test your Hurd builds 
or debug some stuff :). Perhaps it is even wise to have a 3th partition to 
compile stuff on. (I've noticed a lot of building can corrupt your filesystem, 
you don't want this with your /home).
