Hi Julien,
Thanks for your help.
I'm sorry, but a had an dumb error in my config, which means I had a to big partition.
Now a have 1990 Mb parts, but it still brings up this error, despite the good change that I can boot it now to a tmp-cons root.
Here are my GRUB settings. Please note if there is something wrong:
# For booting GNU/Hurd
title GNU/Hurd
root (hd0,6)
kernel /boot/gnumach.gz -s root=device:sd0s7
module /hurd/ext2fs.static --multiboot-command-line=${kernel-command-line} --host-priv-port=${host-port} --device-master-port=${device-port} --exec-server-task=${exec-task} -T typed ${root} $(task-create) $(task-resume)
module /lib/ld.so.1 /hurd/exec $(exec-task=task-create)
> PS: please don't shout! I lowercased the subject.
No worries Julien, you were right.
Regards, Jan
