Hello from Gregg C Levine
I agree. My ISP has its filters, via the Bright Mail company
configured to add the phony e-mail address to a database, and the
robot who manages it prepares a matching pattern algorithm that
eventually blocks just that address, not the domain name. I still see
everything from the FSF, and that's what I am doing.

Now here's what I'd like you to do, my ISP needs to see the specific
bounce error messages so they can make the necessary adjustments to
their system. Can you send me off list the bounce responses for the
past three months?

As for the junk e-mail, all of them have suspicious headers, it’s a
curse that they all have. Over on the Bug-Grub list that, ah, manage,
with its owner, and two to three other fellows, we implemented a
series of steps that would send a reminder to the Bug-Grub-Owner
address regarding the junk e-mail, and ask what we'd want to do with
it. Unfortunately a lot of members had ISPs which used buggy MTAs,
(Mail Transport Agents), so eventually we ended up closing the list.
When a user of the GRUB loader wanted to contact us, and he wasn't a
member, we'd need to allow it. Eventually that person would subscribe.
If you want to follow that route, but not close the lists, then I
volunteer for the job. This would work for all of the HURD lists.
