You could also (on the box with 1.5 GiB of ram) use a GRUB command to
limit the amount of memory GNU Mach will see.  (Limit it to something
around 700 MiB.)  The command is called `uppermem', I think.  Or you can
wait for the next upload of the Debian gnumach package, which will then
have this conflicting patch removed.

I tried to, but the <debian-hurd@gnu.org> redirection doesn't seem to
work anymore.
