Yes, it should just work.
One hint: always run ``syncfs -s'' before shutting down (or rebooting)
the system. It seems that this is somehow not reliably done in the
Hurd's shutdown machinery.

X is currently broken due to a mismatch of the GNU Mach / X.org packages.
This was already reported, see <http://bugs.debian.org/421135>. It
should be fixed somtime soon. A work-around is to simply use the
previous version of the gnumach package.
