Using crosshurd (from a Debian or Ubuntu GNU/Linux system) will give you
an uptodate system; Using the Install CDs will give you the snapshot of
the system when the CDs were released.

Usually the CDs, but some problems with the K14 CDs have been reported
with respect to the Mach console login in multi-user mode.

Try to run "syncfs -c /" after you ran native-install; alternatively,
recreate /dev/tty1 from single-user mode.

It'll setup the passive translators and install/configure the Debian
packages. It's a shell script, so look inside for further details.
