Need new drivers for GNU Hurd

Hi,
my issue is why don't create a interface that allow BSD or Linux kernel modules 
to run even in 
GNU Mach kernel?
I've heard that a such interface already exist in GNU Mach. Why none start a 
such project or 
continue one already existent? Why leave GNU Hurd in the dust and use Linux 
instead?
May someone help me to know if a such project exist and where to find 
documentations?
