I think Solaris 11 is recent enough that we could work around known bugs in the system -- however can this problem really be reproduced on Solaris 11? You indicated the OS was known as "snv_134" which suggests it may be a development release. I'm not certain we should spend time working around bugs in development OSes. /Simon
